3D Printing: Intro to Fusion 360
a workshop led by François Chasseur
Haaa, 3D printing, this magic process that gives you endless possibilities.
A prototype to build? 3D printing. Anything to fix? 3D printing. A toy to improve? etc. The possibilities are infinite. They flood your imagination. The printers are waiting for you at fablab, they seem to call you...
Yes, but...you have always wanted to use a 3D printer but you're frustrated as hell for not being able to draw your models yourself.
We have THE solution: on April 17th, come and discover the basics of 3D modeling.
Over an evening, François, the TRAKK fabmanager, will introduce you to modelling with Fusion 360 software. Through the realization of a simple object (a support for a mobile phone), you will learn the basics of vector drawing in 2D (sketch), the creation of a volume and various modification operations. We will end the session with a 3D printing demonstration. Each participant will then be able to print his object during the opening hours of the fablab.
Fusion 360 is a new and simplified approach to parametric modelling, a user-friendly and versatile software package that integrates design, simulation and manufacturing processes.
Price: 15€ (including training and half day at fablab to print your projects)
When? 17 April 2018,19-22h30
To bring with you: a computer with the software installed and a mouse (required to use the software).
